Every year Michigan motorists generate about 9 million scrap tires that can’t be disposed of in a traditional way.

That’s where Environmental Rubber and state-run programs come in; turning those tires into materials that can outperform traditional materials like stone and gravel used for backfill, and drainage and septic installations, and fuels for energy recovery.
